The reticle is adjusted with tuning knobs situated on the upper and right side surface of the body. A vertical and horizontal correction of reticle is of 60 MOA, and one click moves a reticle by 0.5 MOA. The knobs are protected with metal screw caps which protect against an accidental switch of connected with a casing with steel string due to which they are protected against getting lost. The LDK-4 sight is compatible with thermal weapons sight and night vision devices installed in front of the sight that enable using it at night or under reduced visibility conditions. A MK-1 is 1x magnification micro red dot sight with 3 MOA dot. It is powered with one CR2032 battery, which – in normal operation at temperature of 15°C – ensures not less than 500h of continuous work of the collimator. The MK-1 has a possibility of adjusting during test-firing within a scope of +/- 60 MOA in the vertical and horizontal plane. For making adjustments are two mini-screws situated on the upper and right side surface of the casing in the manner that precludes their accidental turning. A lighting intensity level of the reticle is adjusted by buttons located on the rear side of the casing (from the shooter side), which are also for turning on and off the sight. Weight of the MK-1 without a battery is up to 70 g. In the older version of the CKD-1 combo, the MK-1 was assembled above the eye-piece, but during preliminary tests it turned out that it collides with a helmet visor, therefore in the new version of the CKD-1 it was added a front attachment for the micro sight. Now it can be assembled above an eye-piece or just behind an object-glass. www.fragoutmag.com
