Using a cup as a compression element while making wrappings we can place a thumb, thanks to that a dressing will be compressed and stabilized. 2) in the case of which require an additional dressing (deep, uneven wound) – we apply a gauze which can be found inside its packaging. We unpack a wound according to the appropriate rules and when a proper effect is achieved (making a stopper which compresses injured internal tissues and leaving such an amount of a gauze to stick out above the wound), we place a proper dressing and we address it as in the former case. It should constrict a created stopper and in this way maintain a compression, stopping hemorrhage. On the market of the medical and tactical devices one can find a lot of solutions of personal dressings. I could write much more on at least several dressings which I had a chance to play with, but because of a strictly professional approach I concentrated only on those which are applied most commonly and most often – since they, simply, work.
