vessel will have only an artillery armament
– the heaviest system will originate from
Italy. The OTO Melara company will deliver
a 76 mm automatic cannon and two remote
controlled Marlin systems with 30 mm
automatic cannons. It will be complemented
by two 12.7 mm heavy machine guns
delivered by Polish ZM Tarnow.. However,
while considering a fact of the modular
design and Extended Combat Information
Centre, there is a chance that when new
financial resources will occur, a vessel
can be additionally equipped with missile
systems – anti-aircraft missile launchers
of two types (vertical in the bow part and
the Mk.41 RAM vertical launching system)
and anti-vessels. The greatest problem
connected with a potential additional
armament may be an issue of exchanging
a radar station. However, it is rather thing
of future which has its forerunner in the
form of Malesia which realizes currently
a project of additional armament for its
MEKO A-100 patrol corvettes. As is known
that at a current stage of the construction
nobody is able to correct the weakest point
