VBS3 is already applied in the FlyEye or
ScanEagle class BSP tactical simulations. The BSP
simulator is also used for training in the Polish Air
Force Academy (WSOSP) in Dęblin. The main role
ofVBS3 in this modernisation scheme is playing
the enemy's behaviour on a virtual battlefield and
delivering the background – traffic of civil vehicles,
precise models of cities, strategic objects, etc. in
order to train the picture operators and analysts.
Capabilities of the VBS system also reach larger
platforms, of MALE class. Simulation of thermal
signatures, night-vision tracks
and laser indicators is a standard
element of the software.

Modernisation of missile and
artillery systems
Simulation of artillery fire is
an inseparable part of VBS3,
delivered as the VBS FireS
module only. The system
simulates a complete procedure
of guiding the artillery fire, final
effects, ballistics, influence of
environmental factors and a
broad selection of ammunition
– cluster munition, smoke
ammunition, VT with detonators,
proximity ammunition etc.
A simulator of each artillery system; Homar,
Langusta, Krab, Liwiec class and other classes can
be built with the use of the VBS3 system. One of
