The EAGLE V body features an original shape of the bottom part – in contrast to other mine-resistant vehicles equipped with in the characteristic trian- gle deflector, a lower part of the Swiss vehicle hull resembles a flattened "w" letter. it allows for "hiding" in the body bottom a frame and drive shafts what in turn enables reducing its total height and a location of its gravity center. Therefore, the vehicle features more efficient off-road capabilities – it overcomes hills with an 60% inclination gradient and traverses this which inclination gradient is lower than 40%. a ground clearance is 400–425 mm, an approach an- gle – 42°, a departure angle – 45°, and a turning circle diameter is 15 m. The vehicle can ford up to 1.2 m of water (after a preparation – up to 1.5 m) and overco- me vertical walls with a height of 0.5 m. in the large volume cabin, protected by a steel plates with a protection level comparable with ROSOMAK APC (max. ballistic protection of EAGLE V is STANAG 4569 Level 3 and mine protection 4a/3b), there are seats for four crew members. each of them has a seat which absorb effects of mine explosions under the body and 5-point seat belts. in the Polish version was added a seat for the fifth crew member with a diffe- rent, semi-rigid design. it also features same 5-point seat belts and ensures a similar protection against blast as the remaining seats. after folding the fifth seat it can be used as a lifted platform allowing to use a hatch which is situated directly above it. above front seats there is a mount prepared to assembling remotely controlled weapon station (if not applied, it is covered with armored plate). in order to increase a crew safety a vehicle interior is covered with a spall liner and all windows are bullet- -proof. a rear part of the vehicle in the basic variant is simple "trunk" – a non-armored platform for carrying an out- fitting and an equipment. in standard it is covered with nylon tarpaulin. GdelS offers a wide range of the eaGle V variants and its additional equipment, as well as enables integration of local solutions and equipment from the customer's country. The guests of mSPo 2015 trade show in Poland had opportunity to see how looks a proposal of the Polish eaGle V variant, where it was shown. VEHICLES
