The three different shooters, with experience in weapon handling were taking part in our trial. After the shooting we shared our experiences from seven hours spent with MSBS. ERGONOMICS In overall: we are positive on the MSBS. Rifles in both standard and bull-pup designs are well-made and neat, good in both aesthetics and in handling. The MSBS is lightweight and even after attaching the under- slung grenade launcher under the rifle with 16" barrel the weight will increase but not as much as it could be expected. The grenade launcher itself is also lightweight and has original design with shape following the well-known Magpul AFG grip. After few hours carrying of such combo, you can feel quite tired but the shape of grenade launcher allows to shoot comfortably and what's more, it does help a bit in stabilizing the rifle during firing as the grenade launcher weight compensates the muzzle raise and recoil forces. STABILITY Both MSBS-5,56K and MSBS-5,56B are stable and easily controllable during shooting. There is little recoil and muzzle raise – it could be easily observed when single sixty round burst was shoot with Surefire 60 round magazine. STOCK In standard MSBS-5,56K shooters complained about slight wobbling of the folding stock and flimsy stock retracting mechanism. MSBS is rifle designed with infantry soldier in mind so it has to have sturdy stock retracting system which will not fail in the real life situations. The main disadvantage in the area of stock is the QD buckle-only weapon sling attachment system which does not allow use of different weapon sling. There should be at least a slit in the back or even just hole through the stock so the piece of paracord could be woven there. The adjustable cheek piece was heavily discussed, some were like "hey, cool thing, helps a bit" and some were "Really? I need THAT in infantry rifle?". Well, we are waiting for feedback from the field tests, then we will see how does it perform. The foldable stock is detachable and manufacturer announced that there will be few variants available so the end-user will have a choice of configuration. Currently, only the folded and fixed stocks are available. ONe maN'S meaT IS aNOTHer maN'S pOISON FIREARMS
