December 2016. Due to delays in formulating preli-
minary tactical and technological assumptions, these
works will extend in time. Therefore, a contract insti-
tution put forward a motion to the National Centre
for Research and Development on providing modifi-
cations in the project schedule with regard to a part,
among others, an execution of the LOTR prototype
and a project deadline. Works on a new vehicle re-
ceived a codename Kleszcz. A vehicle is supposed to
have 4x4 drive and it is planned that in future it will
replace the BRDM-2. reconnaissance vehicle.
AMZ-KUTno prepared also a complex offer associa-
ted with other, big projects in relation to acquiring by
the army various vehicles. In the MUSTANG program
which is to select a new off-road vehicle, it coopera-
tes with Ursus S.A. using Jeep J8 vehicles, as having a
capacity to convert them optionally, according to the
request of a ordering party. In Żmija program which
is aimed at an acquisition for 4x4 special reconnais-
sance vehicles of high mobility, a cooperation with
Land Rover was established.
A preMIere of The TUr vehIcLe
The Tur V is also a quite new vehicle which premiere
was announced MSPO 2015. This vehicle is connec-
ted with a next program, this time with a code name
Pegaz.
