VAPOR IN USE
I have been using Wiley-X Vapor since march
2015 as an EDC glasses and protective eyewear,
mostly during casual shooting on the range. For
over half of a year of using them I must admit
they are pretty good eyewear.
They are in fact very light and comfortable –
elastic temples holds them on the head stably.
I don't believe that they will fit heads from S to
XXL size – in my opinion they will be perfect for
S to L size. People with bigger heads may find
them squeezing. With my head circumference
(about 56cm, 7 ¾ inch, Ops-Core Helmet M/L
size) is OK, comfortable and stable and I don't
need to install the band because the glasses
holds adequately securely. Of course, in the
more extreme activities (helicopter, fast boat
etc.) band would be necessary. Attaching it
makes the circumference slightly bigger but
wearing glasses is still comfortable. Temples
work well with the hearing protection but not
so great as minimalistic, thin, metal temples as
in other eyewear. Here, we have a compromise
between maximum comfort while using along
with hearing protection and stability in other
cases.
