Then , they have drawn a conclusion that it is better to
have a tool for everything and a Swiss Army knife with
a corkscrew. But finally, we have manager to develop a
multitool with a corkscrew without scarifying any blade.
It has seemed to us that it will be a splendid product for
those who are found of the picnics. We have also added
a small fork and a spatula for smearing. Nevertheless, the
tool has not become a sale hit. Summarizing, we have
a poor approach towards this, hardly anyone would like
to change oil in his/her car with the same tool, and then
while seating o his/her picnic blanket and eat.
There are some luxury versions of
the multitools. What model is the
most precious?
In order to develop exclusive tools we have hired a
goldsmith from Argentina, from a family with multigen-
erational traditions who has made limited tool versions,
incrusted with silver or gold and other precious mate-
rials. The most expensive has costed 10 000 USD. We
have managed to sell probably one piece... The second
has been purchased by our Finnish distributor who has
intended it for an award in the competition. A winner
has received it personally from me.
Thank you for the interview.
