www.fragoutmag.com The Heavy configuration's stock is capable of so many adjustments, that it probably could be fitted to just anybody. The LOP is adjustable by moving the stock from stop to stop, but then the rubber butt pad can be worm-wheel adjusted as well, to fill the in-between positions as needed. The stock also has a comb that is adjustable in height (just loosen up the two Allen screws with the attached multi-tool) and can be adjusted back and forth. The Patrol Configuration stock is simpler, lighter, smaller and the LOP adjustment is just like any AR-15 weapon with a 6-position stock, similar to the selective-fire HK416/417. In the Heavy Configuration the handguard covers almost the whole length of the barrel – it reaches almost the rear edge of the muzzle device, and has a special opening to change the gas-regulator settings. Top MIL-STD-1913 rail extends over the whole of the upper receiver, all the way to the front edge of the handguard, while the side and bottom rails only reach the traverse of the gas-regulator opening. With a top rail as long as that, high-power optical sights are easily mounted – even with NVD or TIR devices. In Patrol Configuration the handguard with all rails terminate at the gas-regulator. The difference in length between them is 2-3 gates at the most. In the Heavy Configuration a Harris bipod is attached to the bottom rail as a standard, but it can also be used for the Patrol version instead of the Grip-Pod, which is a standard for that configuration.
