One of the youngest Changeable family mem-
bers are Wiley X Vapor eyeshields introduced
in 2014. They have single-piece wide lens and
very slim low-profile frame. Composition of
this two parts effected in very low weight of
34g (35 according to producer's info)
The frame is made of elastic injected polymer
with two simple, folding temples widening at
the ends. What is more, they are rubberized to
provide better grip on the user's head and bet-
ter attachment of the safety band. The band is
characteristic part of the Wiley X – it can be
attached by placing the temples through the
rubber loops which are connected with a band.
It can be adjusted with the plastic regulator.
According to the producer, the frame size is uni-
versal from S to XXL size. They are available in
tan and black.
The lens is fitted in the frame with friction via
WX LOX lens fast exchange system. It's side
cuts cooperate with appropriate protrusions
in the frame and the upper edge – with the
