Compared with the specialized Sr-25s, the Sr-16s are just typical
assault carbines, their only changes being high production quality
and the UrX4 handguards. Inside, they both featured e3 enhanced
5.56 mm bolts, fitted with rounded locking lug edges and a match-
grade two-stage trigger – a bit of overkill for a selective-fire
weapon, frankly. the carbines are fully ambidextrous as well, with
doubled controls. both featured the advanced design flash-hiders,
suppressor-ready with integral QdC interface. the 11,5" carbine is
736-813 mm long o/A, and weighs in at 2.76 kg, while for the 14.5"
version these values are respectively 813–889 mm and 2.86 kg.
