JACKET The jacket of Tilak MiG is zipped with a main YKK two- way YYK zipper. This cut is slightly more loose (box cut) than in the case of standard alpine clothing, which usually is more fitting, and – contrary to other moun- tain models – has no hood. The bottom of the jack- et, that has is slightly longer at the back, has an elastic drawstring with stoppers, which have been hidden in the pockets on the hips. The jacket has six pockets in total: @ two pockets on the hips, with zippers, mesh lined; @ two pockets on the chest, with zippers, mesh lined; @ two pockets on the arms, with vertical zippers, mesh lined as well. The outside parts of pockets have panels of Velcro loops. The mesh inside the pockets may serve as addi- tional ventilation after opening the pockets. Zipper have been finished with a narrow nylon tape pull- cords, so that you can grab them easily even with hand in glove. The arms have been sewn in a quite unusual way - with the back part of the jacket they are single ele- ment. Near the elbows, the arms have been anatomi- cally shaped to allow the full spectrum of movements. The part from the elbow to the armpit has two-way zippers used to adjust the ventilation. The cuffs are very characteristic for all the jackets from Tilak compa- ny – they are closed with a polyurethane flap with in- fused hooks, but they are fastened "towards the user", in contrary to the popular solution of fastening "out of the user". From the inside, the cuff has a 35 mm wide strip of soft material that serves as a protection against abrasion. In order to adjust the fastener, instead of the flap, one can use the sewn-in drawstring. The high fitting collar, which may to some extent be adjusted with an elastic drawstring with two cord- locks, is lined with soft microfleece fabric that protects the neck against scrapes. The same material has been used on the inner side of the flap under the main zip- per. The flap can be snapped on the inner side of the jacket with a Stocko. Below the collar, on the inner side, there is a hanger loop. CLOTHING
