from Dubai is 4x4 Mine Resistant Ambush Protected
(MRAP) class armored personnel carrier vehicle with
advanced STANAG Level 3 ballistic protection crew
compartment and STANAG 4569 Level 2+ anti-mine re-
sistant floor. It might transport up to six crew fully equip-
ped soldiers on board (2 crew + 4). Scorpion might be
armed with weapon station (manually or remotely con-
trolled) with machine guns or 40mm automatic grenade
launcher installed.
Nexter titus, The Tactical Infantry Transport & Utility System or TITUS in short is 6x6 armored personnel carrier vehicle designed
by French NEXTER. Basically, it is beefed up and heavily armored 6x6 Tatra truck chasses with 440HP engine and NATO STANAG
4569 Level 3 ballistic protection. The variant presented at MILIPOL was tailored for law enforcement use - anti-riot grates on win-
dows and blade in front were installed.
