change along with drinking the water from the hydra- tion system. However, with such a firm construction, you will probably feel no difference in distribution of weight on the shoulder straps. I added some stuff to the MOLLE/PALS webbing on the top pocket in order to attach a sleeping pad. I use a Swedish sleeping pad and it is so light that the center of gravity does not change. I keep the straps on the bottom of the backpack for heavier stuff, such as a tent, a shelter or a groundsheet. I changed almost every paracord on the zipper pulls. Reason – they were all the same. Typically, each zip- per ended with a simple paracord loop. I changed mine into two types: the zippers that open the top of the backpack and the large front pocket end with a paracord Solomon wattle, while the other with par- acord loops that have been additionally supported with a heat-shrink pipe. Such a solution helps me in identifying the pocket, even when its totally dark. Before, I confused them sometimes because of too many zippers. SUMMARY Summing up – X300 is a very good backpack at a reasonable price, in comparison to the products of leading companies. At the same time, it is of simi- lar quality and some of the solutions applied in the backpack are quite unusual and work perfectly. Warrior Assault Systems X300 backpacks are available in Crye Precision Multicam (with Murock jacquard webbing) and A-TACS FG and A-TACS AU camouflage patterns plus solid Coyote Tan color. For special orders, solid black and olive green colors are available but they require minimum run. THIRD LINE GEAR
