IN USE I have been using the Tilak MiG 1.0 set under var- ious weather and terrainonditions, both in winter and in spring. The fabric serves its tasks well - it is breathable and provides protection of level usual for soft-shells – it will protect you against rain and snow, but won't deal with monsoon. The quality of used materials and the overall design is at world level – you won't find irregular seams, yarns stick- ing out, or any other failures. During the usage, some shortcomings were noticed. @ The first production series had a problem with sizing. In my case, a person who easily fits in the US Medium Regular, the MiG set with the size of Medium appeared to be wrong – the cut of the jacket was too big and the pants were at least 5-8 centimeters too long. In current pro- duction runs, the problem has been solved. @ No hood. In my opinion, a softshell jacket with- out a hood is a bad idea if it is to be used in the mountains, especially in winter. Fortunately, the Noshaq, so the next generation, has a proper hood. @ Access to the arm-pockets. Zippers are tad too short – extending them by one centimeter on both sides would allow the pockets to hold slightly larger items. It would also make it easier to reach the inside of the pocket with a gloved hand. @ Fasteners of the cuffs. The user must get used to the inverted way of fastening and adjusting the cuff. What is more, there is a risk of accidental unfastening of cuffs, when hooking against a branch or a rock. Clothes made by Tilak represent products of high-quality that are worth their price, especial- ly due to the fact that the company expands its offer with new components, creating a coherent system. Moreover, the company gives four years of guarantee for all of their products – not many manufacturers offer such conditions. CLOTHING
