The Croatian company, as one of the pretender in French armed forces new assault rifle tender, has presented the
whole family of the 5.56 VHS-2 bull-pup assault rifle. It is probably the only bull-pup rifle with adjustable butt-pad
and that is the one of the reasons why it is considered in the tender. One of the variants is VHS-2 with red dot sight
integrated into the carrying handle in similar way to German H&K G36 rifle. Unfortunately, the size of the sight is rel-
atively small, causing the dark picture and very narrow field of view.
ALSETEX COUGAR MS
Futuristic-shaped Cougar MS is 40 mm semi-automatic
grenade launcher dedicated for police and law enforce-
ment use. It deploys 40x46 mm non-lethal rounds. MS40
is fed from six round box magazine. It is 67 cm long, 10 cm
weight and 27 height. Weight of this mostly polymer and alloy
made weapon is 3.4 kilograms.
