In 7500 according to the Greeks' calculation, and 2002 according to the Romans, Erik Rank went into Warega. Having taken with him the Slaves, Wojciech and Niemir, he crossed along the long see by the ship, to take part in the Wareg Morph's wedding ceremony in Foteviken. There he met Jomsviking earl, Ulf- Erik. So, Erik said to the earl: "Give me Jomsborg's right, and a case of the brave men for the shared expeditions". The earl responded: "How many of them can you gang together? Would it be enough to detach a field with the peaks? Are they so brave not to take a step back although even three of them against a dozen are left?". Then, over the years the Team expanded, and its ranks were joined by the subsequent warriors. Finally, it led to developing a large and strong team which today is the Nordelag. We are a group which reenacts a colorful life of the people who lived in the area of the seashores of the Baltic Sea within a period between the 10th and 11th century. A majority of people who belong to the Nordelag lives in GdaƄsk or Gdynia and its neighborhood although a part of our members resides currently in northern Poland, Stockholm, Northampton and Copenhagen. How, when and why? www.fragoutmag.com
