Ä airway management using manual tech- niques, nasopharyngeal airway, LTD laryngeal tube and performing cricothyroidotomy (so called Emergency Cric); Ä respiratory management using occlusive dressings for open pneumothoraces and perform- ing a needle decompression procedure for tension pneumothoraces); Ä conducting a circulatory control, a pulse rate measurement, a control of the skin condition and skin temperature – each inspection of the param- eters is precisely checked up and compared by the instructors with an actual condition of the patient; Ä management of head injuries and activities related to preventing hypothermia; Ä preparing the wounded to be transported on the stretcher, controlling and recording visual signs, move to the extraction point (it is frequently a few kilometers away from an event site).
