Modern snipers are responsible for surveillance, observation, reports, fire direction
and eliminating dangerous high-value targets (HVT) with their long-range
precision rifles – particularly when the employment of different effectors could
inflict collateral damage on non-combatants. To fulfill their tasks snipers require a
comprehensive mix of weapons, optical sights, ammunition and accessories – and,
of course, excellent training.
