parachute jumps have not been taken into consideration. The official public debut took place during SHOT Show 2015. The new plate carrier consists of three basic elements – two main panels for carrying ballistic plates (back and front) integrated with shoulder straps, and a cummerbund belt that supports the vest. The manufacturer decided on the lightweight design and the possibility of adjusting the configuration to a wide range of missions – in fact, this is a more modular JPC. DESIGN The outside part of the vest's panels are made from Cordura 500D nylon, while the inside from Tweave Durastretch fabric, which serves a double role – it enables transport of moisture from the user's body and makes the panels properly fit to the ballistic plates put inside. JPC 2.0 may be used for carrying hard ballistic plates with an additional backer, meaning a separate layer of a soft ballistic insert, as well as thicker stand alone plates – the elastic material adjusts to plates of varying thickness and shapes. The inner side, at the height of the neck and the breastbone, has additional inserts from a soft and resilient dense mesh, which enhance the usage comfort and improve the flow of air. The upper part of the front panel has a sewn in flat admin pouch with three rubber loops used to stabilize small stuff. It is fastened with a Velcro. The admin pouch can hold small Rite in the Rain notebooks, pens and short lightsticks (4"). Next to the admin pouch, there are two sewn on horizontal webbing loops, which may be used for fixing a Crye Precision chest rig with buckles – this is helpful in the case of having several equipment configurations and one platform for carrying it. Below the admin pouch, there is a large piece of Velcro loop used for attaching optional front mag pouches. Just below it, there is the so-called kangoo pouch covered with Velcro. The cummerbund is also fastened on it. The Velcro strap may be connected with modules that come from the previously mentioned AVS systems: Ä a front module with sewn on MOLLE/PALS webbing for any configuration; Ä a front module with three mag pouches for three 5.56 mm magazines; Ä a front module with three mag pouches for three 7.62 mm magazines; Ä a front module with integrated three flat mag EQUIPMENT
