Arc'teryx LEAF Assault Glove FR appeared in 2015. Till that time, the tactical line up of the company included only gloves for usage in extreme weather conditions that, in practice, were redesigned tourist models, but in more "military" colors. The company decided to use their new model to enter the difficult market of tactical gloves. Let's take a look on them! DESIGN Those are classic five-finger gloves with an adjustable cuff, which helps the glove fit the hand more accurately. The design includes three materials: Ä natural goat leather – the upper part covering the hand; Ä soft and smooth Tsunami leather – the bottom part of the palm, touch-screen compatible; Ä chunky TenCate Defender M knit (339 g/m2) with an interlock weave, thanks to which it looks identically on both sides – in the cuff of the glove. All the materials comply with flame resistance requirements. That is why there is the „FR" suffix in the name. Enough technical details. How does it effect the design of the glove? We should start with the technology used for creating the most important element of the glove, so the finger parts. The glove is sewn very precisely, with consideration to human anatomy – none of the fingers have been sewn flat.
