cobra, the stock, and finally the butt stock. The stock is monolithic, with a slightly futuristic line, fully made of aluminum. In order to reduce weight, holes have been designed or some of the material has been taken out wherever possible. The butt stock with an adjustable cheekpiece and cheek support is foldable, which greatly helps when carrying the weapon. Apart from the standard accessories, the weapon we got had an installed bipod and an adjustable monop- od near the butt stock, as well as a great sight. Such a set allows adjusting the weapon perfectly and giv- ing an accurate shot. When I was laying down on the ground to give a shot, I felt like a real sniper – .338 Lapua Magnum is impressive, the only limitation during shooting (a significant one) was the 300 meter long firing lane. After some essential adjustments, I gave the first shot from 300 m. It appeared accu- rate (we were shooting at a metal gong with a diameter of 30 cm). The bolt knob is very convenient, while the bolt itself worked smoothly and allowed a quick, secure injection of another round to the chamber. The trigger is very accurate. Its adjustments allow individual selection of parameters for every shooter. After a dozen of shots, you have the feeling as if shooting with a .308 weapon. The muzzle de- vice is not overrated – the weapon has just no recoil, while controlling it does not cause any trouble. Those several moments with this CDXX- 33 rifle I do not feel fully satisfied. I just want to know how would it be to fire from 600, 900, and 1200 meters, or even from a greater distance. I am sure that this weapon has a great potential, while using it is just a great pleasure. www.fragoutmag.com
