The silent Valley – mecca of the astronomers, one of the less "contami-
nated by light" places in Poland. beautiful, wooded neighborhood emanates
with serenity and majesty, not paying attention to people's attempts. meaty,
straight palpable silence, crunchy snow, no animal sounds; a lack of coverage
in the cell phones is a mark of reaching an edge of the civilization. an extreme-
ly kind owner of our hostel greeted and hosted us, left the keys and as impart-
ibly he appeared, equally suddenly disappeared. in silence.
