REPORT after we had quickly taken off and repacked our gear, taking advantages from a rest of the daylight, we set off on the first route. it is hard to say that it is a walk along an indicated and scheduled route. after several hundred meters of a road downwards the valley, we start to climb up by its snowy slope. as max said: "the classic off-road… be careful of the roots and branches that are covered with snow". we are climbing up, making attempts to keep an equal pace. it can be only heard as snow crunches under our boots and deep breathes. a weight of our equipment is signif - icantly higher with each step. the rations, spare clothing, a photographic equipment, a weapon, an ammunition, a bunch of different things. what is a reason to take such a great deal of things with us in order to walk a few kilo- meters outside a trail? the .308 16" PWs MK226 rifle attached to one of the backpacks is the icing on the cake. it weights a little bit… after a 1-hour walk upwards it is getting darker and darker. max and Kostek, our outdoor enthusiasts who got used to the trekking and hiking, took a decision after a consultation and checking up grids of two gPs. we go downwards. it is hilly. i will rather say it is so steep that despite my great experience in the snowboard freeride i would not try to ride along this slope. a descent, or rather a controlled slide, wears us out heavily. we went across by a frozen to the half stream three times, each time counting that an ice is sufficiently strong to hold us. after the subsequent hour of a march in the shafts of light from the headlamps we reach a road. a quite good navigation of our trekkers – we are 500 meters above our mountain hotel. without losses, not taking into account that everyone had on his account a few falls and that one carbon stick is broken.
