The Polish soldiers conducted FOB defense training and procedures of fighting in ambush with the live ammunition at the distances up to more than 600m. The weather was not favorable and it was typically "tactical", that is a torrential rain, low temperature, mud and wind. Certainly, there made no special difference for the Roso- mak infantry fighting vehicles crews – under the armor rain drops does not fall on the head, and a aiming system of the Rosomak switched to the thermal imaging mode will not notice the above inconveniences. Slightly less happy were dismounted infantry sol- diers, but on the other hand – such a job, nobody promised that the Sun will always shine, and a temperature will fluctuate within the limits of +21°C. Since mid-January 2016 the U.S. Army soldiers are again present at the training grounds of the Land Forces Training Centre in Drawsko Pomorskie, Poland, as so called "Stryker Detachment" they will conduct their own trainings and take part in the trainings together with the Polish units. The 150-men mechanized company from the 3rd Squadron ("Wolfpack) of the 2nd Cavalry Regiment from barracks in Vilseck, Bavaria with 16 Stryker ar- mored fighting vehicles will cooperate with the Polish soldiers within the coming months. The Americans have trained at the Drawsko training center with the 12th Mechanized Brigade and 7th Coastal Defense Brigade in January and February. In Wędrzyn training center they will cooperate with the 17th Mechanized Brigade, and April will be for them a month of the training together with 21st Mountain Infantry Brigade in Nowa Dęba facility. www.fragoutmag.com
