The company, which gained its experience during production top-class mounts for optical sights, grips, chassis for sniper rifles, and advanced mo- unts for .50 cal Browning M2 heavy machine guns made from durable polymers and alloys, decided to join the elite group of manufacturers of high- -class sniper weapons. During the SHOT Show 2015, they had their debut with a series of Cadex Defence sniper rifles available in six variants – CDX- 30 Guardian (.308 Winchester), CDX-300 (.300 Winchester Magnun), and CDX-33 Patriot (.338 Lapua Magnum). FRAG OUT! had the opportunity to have a close look at this last model. CDX-33 Patriot The bolt-action .338 Lapua Magnum (8.6x70 mm) CDX-33 Patriot sniper rifle with a "resistance free" bolt has 27 in. (685 mm) fluted barrel of conical pro- file and a 5R rifling with a twist rate of 1:9 1/2, made by the reputable Bartlein company.
