OPERATION Control of Silynx Clarus PRO is done with single button. Pressing for three seconds activates the headset, what is confirmed by a voice message: "Unit On". Then a check up signal is emitted (a short buzz in the right and left ear) and the system is ready for use. In this mode, each subsequent, short pressing of the button changes a level of "hear throug"h - sound amplification of the environment. There are four levels available: Low (3 dB), Medium (6 dB), High (9dB) and Super Normal Hearing (12 dB). All operates in the following cycle: Medium-High-Super-High-Medium-Low. The next click turns off amplification, but the kit still works. The sequence is looped so the next click is a level "Low", and so on. The device does not memorize the last settings and always after turning it on starts form the "Medium" level. In order to turn off the kit you should hold again the control button for three seconds until you hear "Unit Off". A nice, feline voice announces also one more message, "Battery Low", which informs us about a necessity to exchange the battery. Connecting the external devices comes down to plain simple plug & play. One plug to the device socket, the second to the Silynx Clarus PRO, and you're ready to go. A volume of the played music or a phone calls is adjusted directly from the connected device – the unit amplifies only the surrounding sounds. The adjuster on the microphone housing operates differently depending on the connection of a player and a phone. In the case of the player, a single pressing turns on a Pause, the subsequent – activates playing. A double click is a jump forward and three clicks – back. When you connect a phone, pressing results in receiving a call, the next – rejecting it. www.fragoutmag.com
