WileyX Rogue are delivered in a set of two or three ballis- tic lenses (depending on kit), made of shatterproof Selenite™ polycarbonate with high optical quality, which ensures safety against ballistic threats according to the following standards: Ä Mil-pRf-32432(gl) – the strict US military standard related to the ballistic spectacles and goggles covering both safety and design requirements or optical quality. The lens must be able to withstand a 0.38g 3.81 caliber, T37 shaped test projectile at a velocity of the order of 200 meters per second. Ä Ansi Z87.1-2010 – the US industry standard. Protective lens must withstand the impact of a 6.35 mm steel ball shot at 76.2 m/s. The second test consists in hitting the lens by an object with a mass of 500g dropped from a height of 127cm. In this test is not investigated resistance to cracking – the lens cannot generate fragments what can cause additional inju- ries, and must stay in the frame. What might be interesting, lens flammability is also verified. Ä ce en166f – the European industry standard related to an individual eye protection, which the latest edition comes from 2015. The F letter means "Low impact energy" – the lens withstands impacts against a 6 mm steel ball, 0.86g travelling up to 45 meters per second. Lenses provide certificate protection against small fragments and against UVA/UVB radiation. Outer side has anti-scratch T-shell coating applied during the manufacturing process. On the inner side there is Foil coating which prevents the lenses against fogging. The visors for Wiley X Rogues comes in three color variants: clear – Variable Light Transmission (VLT) at a level of 90% - for indoor and after dark conditions. smoke gray – VLT 15% - for the full sunlight. light Rust – VLT 53% - these work the best in the average lighting conditions (and, for instance while driving a car after dark). It should be noted that the lenses in the kit are supplied with only one nose piece, which should be changed when there is a need to replace. The nose piece, flexible and with a great range of adjustment (it will match to the broken noses) is compatible with the Wiley X ptX insert intended for the corrective lenses. According to the claims of a manufacturer, the Rogues shout fit to a majority of the population. EYEWEAR
