Polish Air Force M-346 Master takes off for its maiden flight. For now on, the plane will fly with removed signs of nationality. twelve PZL-130 Orlik turboprop trainers to PZL-130 TC-II Glass Cockpit standard. This may make it easier to obtain orders for training for- eign pilots. Currently, Netherlands started using Italian M-346. Officially, Poland will be the second European users of he Leonardo M-346M Master, but, in fact, it be the third one. That is caused by the fact that Singaporean aircraft are stationed in the French base in Cazaux. Outside Europe, Masters are used by IDF, whose first experience show lowered training costs of future com- bat pilots. Thanks to those planes, Israel was able to retire TA-4J Skyhawk and speed up the transition to the final type of the plane by skipping the stage of flights with two-seat F-16B Nec and F-15D Eagle.
