Few years ago, the German LOWA shoe making company won military and law
enforcement customers' hearts (or feet, to be specific) with the awesome
and extremely popular LOWA Task Force Zephyr series, which, thanks to
their featherweight and comfort, rapidly gain popularity among soldiers
and officers. Lightweight Zephyrs actually do have some shortcomings
that result from design itself, so for more demanding users who need
more robust boots for use with heavier loads in more rugged terrain, the
Z-6/Z-8 series was crafted. Shortly: Zephyrs on steroids. In subsequent
years, rapid development of technologies and materials allowed LOWA to
create even lighter brother of Zephyrs but still providing necessary stability
when moving in rugged terrain and durability. And that is how Innox series
appeared.
