In the second photo shoot only the F-16 fighters and their pilots have been supposed to be stars. Its idea has consisted in taking photos of four aircrafts in the various versions – all with the conformal fuel tanks (CFT) and air-to-air missiles. In this case we have also has a greater comfort during the briefing since it could be conducted face-to-face, and not remotely as the previous one. The F-16 with the CFTs have a huge operational range so it has been either no problem with time – we could concentrate solely on the set-ups. Apart from the standard ones, I have proposed two more rarely met, i.e. two-stage ones with a tiger painted F-16 on top and the above mentioned trail which has seemed to me in this case more reasonable, and as it has turned out later – and rightly so. A peculiar novelty has been also dropping flares in the various sequences – from a point of view of the photographer it is complicated but at the same time very attractive visually. We have invented the solution thanks to which dropping of flares has not surprised anybody – namely the pilot has had to signalize a willingness to shot by "flapping" with the wings.
