my
opinion,
the
optimum
(and
doable)
variant
should
include
the
co-existence
of
Blackhawks
and
the
currently
used
Mi-
17,
so
that
it
could
allow
securing
a
whole
range
of
special
operations
missions.
Apart
from
the
above-mentioned
flights
with
ATVs,
the
helicopter
crews
of
7.EDS
performed
CASEVAC
operations
that
mainly
constituted
a
training
for
operators
of
Formoza
in
air-to-ground
communication
with
helicopters
during
combat
operations.
Elements
of
PR
(personnel
recovery)
missions
were
trained
on
another
day.
Each
of
those
tasks
made
a
good
opportunity
for
pilots
and
gunners
of
7.EDS
to
perform
flights
and
landings
in
mountain
terrain
conditions
(also
on
the
so-called
elevated
helipads).
