Indeed, the retrofitted HA-03 helmet is more stable and more comfortable. It is easier to adjust and fit it to user's anatomy, which was problematic in the legacy version. The new variant is better, but not perfect – on one hand, the choice of products is rather poor within that price range and we should not expect top solution. On the other hand, the military chose a specific model of the helmet and the manufacturer must provide the exact model. It is a pity that nobody thought in the long term. Although active hearing protectors are not commonly used now, the situation might change in the future. Of course, the shape of the helmet shell will provide more coverage. Still, the other armed forces do not find it problematic to have the helmet slightly higher, enabling the use of auxiliary equipment. summing up – it's better, but not perfect. In any case, para- troopers should be glad, because situations of losing the helmet during the jump should not happen again. The comfort has been improved. Yet, some defects remain unchanged, but that is caused by the choices made by the disposer. It is good that the issues of the previous version were noticed and addressed rather than swept under the carpet. It may be a sign of good potential for the future. HELMETS
