During firing, glass of that flashlight is probably get- ting dirty little less than others – preferably thanks to canopy that may have the influence in dispersing the exhaust gases. Anyway, even after intensive firing the glass is not so dirty that in the flashlight of the rivals, so there is something about. What's important – PL-1 WML is fully ambidextrous. It is operated independently that we fire from right of left hand that this is very important, because some- times you will have to use supporting hand (weak hand) for firing. Generally, I rate the PL-1 Valkyrie II (there is no sense to rate the Gen 1, because it is no longer manufac- tured) very well. Affordable price (below $100), com- pact built (without clamp lever it would be even better), good resistance and durability, very good illumination, ergonomic turning on – do you need anything else? What's more, it has nice look that composes nicely with some type of handguns (I like mostly under CZ P-07 and HK SFP9 SF). To sum up, very good WML with very good price point. Not perfect, but meeting requirements of average user, also one that shoots a lot.
