SHASH HAS BEEN BREAKING AND BANGING THE 8802 Luminox Colormark took place of my classic faithful Casio G-shock, the really rugged watch that is hard to break and the only problem I could have faced was a battery change (even though I did not have to do it yet). First thing that caught my attention when I put my hands on Luminox 8802 was the fact that it is surprisingly lightweight. You can barely even feel it. Apart from that, what differs it from other models is its size, Colormark is fairly small, only 44 millimetres in diameter, what makes it similar to G-shock, but it is relatively flat. Tritium TTL system work great in the limited visibility and are extremely comfortable because they do not require any additional actions like pushing button or switching anythibg. What I would like to have in the Luminox Colormark is the alarm function. It is a very basic model that shows nothing more than date and time. Polyurethane rubber strap is soft and comfortable but warms up in the sun sticks a bit to the sweaty skin. At this moment, when I write those words, it is still undamaged and does not show any signs of breaking, like it used to happen in some of my friends' Luminox watches. I have to add that I was re- peatedly taking baths and showers while wearing it. I have used this timepiece almost every day for over a year and I did not manage to break or damage it – neither in the rain, snow, mountains, in the salty and drinking water, on the shooting range or when I was riding a bike or running. To this day there are almost no scratches on the mineral glass and I have to tell you I was not very gentle with it. I have bumped it or scratched on something for a few times. The only problem I observed was a vapor residue under the glass. That has happened twice or three times. What is awkward, it did not appear in the water but on a dry rock and in the city… EDC
