DESIGN
The outer surface of the Carinthia MIG 3.0 is
W.L.Gore & associates Windstopper laminate with
highly breathable ePTE membrane and lightweight,
completely matte nylon (polyamide) rip-stop outerlayer
with DWR coating for water resistance. The quilted
lining is Shelltrans as 100% Polyamide smooth-face
fabric, quilted into "compartments" that prevents the
G-LOFT® Si (soft insulation) from shifting during use.
The G-LOFT® Si filament varies in the parts of the
jacket – the core has 125 g/m
2
of insulation while the
arms – 80 g/m
2
.
Carithia MIG 3.0 is medium-length jacket, it's defi-
nitely not a parka style garment - it extends up to the
buttocks, with a slightly extended back part. Jacket
has a full front two-way water-resistant zipper with
insulated wind flap protecting against wind and pre-
venting from cold spots.
