in temperatures of about minus 15 o c. and works wonderful in such unpleasant conditions. Of course, it may be used for lower temperature renage, but everything depends on the in- dividual predispositions of the users and on the extra layers of clothes worn underneath. I had a chance to use the MIG 3.0 in the Świętokrzyskie Mountains in Poland when it was -30 o C outside, pretty frosty. Of course, I also had a thin sweatshirt and winter underwear. Caritnthia MIG 3.0 is great for all the scenarios that require low physical activity or as a "stand- still" – a coat that we use to warm ourselves during stops, wearing it over the hardshell or softshell clothes (if we happen to have additional load bearing equipment, we must remember to choose the correct size, one size up). The MIG 3.0 has a generous cut, which is quite a standard for that type of clothing, with a fixed adjustable hood and numerous pockets (in- cluding two center handwarmer pockets), so it provides enough place for carrying small items, such as gloves, buff or a hat. the two internal pockets should be used for carrying smartphones or similar electronics – the batteries hate low temperatures. the bottom part of the left sleeve has a pocket that might be used to store our skipass. all pockets are fastened with zippers with bands that may be operated in the sleeves. Why using a waterproof membrane in a jacket for dry and cold weather? you will know the reason once you lay in the snow for a longer time or enter a room filled with snow. The membrane protects the against soaking. Although the jacket is filled with synthetic G-LOFT® Si that will warm you even when wt, it is better to keep the poly- ester fibers dry. What distinguishes G-LOFT® from other types of lining I have used, such as Primaloft, Climashield, Polar Guard, or Coreloft, is the application of additional coating of thin aluminum foil that serves as a screen for reflecting warmth back to the inside. Such a combination works CLOTHING
