My version is a little bit "tinkered" – there are added spacer flanges on wheels, so the ATV is 5 cm wider and it has a better grip when I take a turn at a speed higher than 80 km/h. I also put on far big- ger tires, which greatly increased the driving con- venience. What is more, I added aluminum chassis protectors – they perform well and protect engine elements against stones. Air inlets are led under the handlebars, over the fuel tank, but in an unobtrusive way. I changed some other minor elements, such as a remotely controlled winch, heated control levers, etc. (everything works, if anyone asked). Failure frequency of this ATV is very low, provided that you use it wisely (which might be a problem, because more dangerous rides are tempting). If we start to submerge it, perform jumps, participate in off-road races, then yeah – it will wear down. When used in a "non-rally" manner, it will last without fail- ures for years. I am sure of that. Brake blocks wear down quite fast but, in my opinion, it results from too dynamic driving. I never had to change the shock absorbers; I have the original ones from the very be- ginning (and that is awesome!). In my opinion, the suspension elements are quite durable – I have to spend several hundred zlotys for some joints or rub- ber parts of the control arm, but that is all. I usually use my ATV to rush for more vodka at night through dark woods – but seriously, I use it for week- end trips to forests and swamps, to tow a trailer with wood, debris, or other stuff. What needs to be towed will eventually get towed – my record is 1.5 ton of wood in a trailer. And the ATV managed to cover a distance of 17 kilometers. In winter, I use it to remove snow in my village – I have a snowplow that I attach to the frame and to the winch. It handles snow per- fectly and I even bought Tatou tracks, so I can't wait to test them in the next winter. This vehicle is very comfortable – I have driven many machines, but none of them was as comfortable as Grizzly. It has a seat of superior convenience, profiled handlebars fixed at an optimum height, while power steering makes driving seamless, even for weak per- sons (female friends of my son are a proof). The ATV has a number of compartments and by add- ing a plastic cover in the rear, I acquired a perfect ve- hicle for long trips in to the woods – I just take food for a couple of days, a tent, and other necessities and then I am ready to go. This quad bike is definitely de- signed for one person at a time – two people are far beyond its capacities. The vehicle is simply too short for that, but there were situations when I drove it with another person at the back. I may use my ATV on public roads and I make use of this privilege with joy by driving to Warsaw to do the shopping, overtaking some cars on the way. I could be worried about the condition of my off-road tires but... hey, it's fun! When it comes to longer trips, I transport the ATV on a trailer designed for transporting ATV (my own project). I have never checked fuel consumption, but it is low when off-road, I guess. You must check in on Internet forums. I just fill its tank quite often and hung two additional 5-liter Kolpin tanks on both sides of the coffer. They come in handy quite often... To answer eventual questions: it does not consume oil. When it comes to comparing with other ATVs or vehicles of my friends... I really do not want to of- fend someone, but quad bikes offered by Polaris, Honda, or other good brands must learn a lot in or- der to catch up with this model. As for the "mediocre" brands, such as CF moto and similar ones – they are just out of this league, period. This is the best off-rad vehicle I know – Grizzly is ma- neuverable, strong, and fast. The speed of 80 km/h in a forest is as if in "Return of the Jedi" and a chase on speeder bikes. I am really satisfied with this ATV and won't be selling it in the nearest future. Then I will replace my Grizzly with a newer version. That is because no one has invented a better se- ries-produced ATV so far. VEHICLES
