in use I do not hide that the 0095BW as the first has been found in my pocket. Besides an appearance, first of all appeal to me its lower weight. 150 grams is not little, but as for the knife that measures approx. 21cm it is a respectable result – the more that it seems to be much lighter in the hand that it really is. The titanium handle invaluably contributes to a mass reduction of this model. It is a large, but flat folded knife due there- fore it is convenient to carry it in your pocket. It neither pinches nor weighs and you can just forget that you still have it on you. The Zero Tolerance 0095BW has participated in a few trips, it has come with me across the Kampinos Forest, canoed and accompanied me at the camp site on the river bank however I have not given it any diffi- cult tasks. He has planned the sticks for a bonfire, cut the sausages, dig up meat from the canned food for tourists at the patio of the house. It has succeeded with preparing the food so well that I have been rather willing to use it in the kitchen, too. Its good cutting properties have enabled to cut prob- lem-free almost all, due to the thin cutting edge and the high grind, the blade has not cracked the vegeta- bles, but has smoothly cut out the subsequent slices. Cutting meat, various kind of the cheeses or preparing the sandwiches has not made any trouble. The long cutting edge is an enormous advantage while working on the food. The only disadvantage has turned out to be the pointed point, not too practical when getting the pâté from its package and spreading it on the bread. Unfortunately, the good cutting parameters have in this knife a limited usability scope. While chipping the blade slides on the wood, the harpoon shape and a lack of the expressive belly take their toll. It is also hard to have an appropriate grip for the precise works, the trim in the blade spine is too long and the thumb does not reach an arch, on which it can be supported. Nonetheless, I have been astonished the most by this what I have seen on the cutting edge after a month of using the knife to the light, everyday works. The visi- ble micro-chippings have been visible in a few places. Probably the sticks chipped by me has had the small gnarls, maybe while taking out the meat from the tin I have hooked against the tin edge, nevertheless some- thing like that could have never take place in the knife made of the high-quality steel. Having been discouraged by such turn of events, I have reached fort the second knife. The Zero Tolerance 0909, according to my assumptions, has turned out to be a rather troublesome occupant of the pocket. More than 212 grams of weight has forced me to fasten my www.fragoutmag.com
