The Ukrainian new generation Antonov An-178 transport aircraft is
far away from a full-scale serial production. A possible solution to
the problems of the Ukrainian manufacturer may be working with
Saudi Arabia to obtain funds for their projects.
Debut of a light, composite trainer manufactured by Diamond
Aircraft and called Diamond DART 450. It features the Ukrainian
AI-450S turboprop engine. The aircraft is certified for aerial stunts
at g limits of -5/+7g. Two pre-serial units are to be supplied to an
anonymous client this year, and certified aircraft will be offered
from 2018 onwards.
