tablishing phase. What's more WOT can be decision maker by itself and not use the help of Inspectorate. By the way of testing – deployment of Grot into combat units there is one objection, that it is happening before end of „testing phase" of that rifle. In the meantime weapon is practically after all testing and research (MSBS was in fact ready to produce approx. 2.5 year ago…), and there are only so-called qualification tests left. Excluding MSBS/Grot from Titan future soldier program allowed changing in test schedule and currently their end is planned for October of 2017, what means earlier that delivery of new weapon to WOT. Something from us Breaking for a while from havoc around signed contract, procedures and political shell like who rules now and ev- erything like that, focus on the weapon itself. I am „into the subject" of MSBS/Grot from end of 2009, when first prototype dummies were presented. Through- out next years I took part in most official events related with the program and I had no single one opportunity to fire that weapon and get familiar with it fairly. I know most of the people engaged into that project. Not going to hide it, I support MSBS from very beginning, when it looked like cross of violin box and brick with few rails attached with glue and duct tape. It is good that MSBS/Grot moved forward after it was stuck something like two years ago. There is chance to begin the process of rearming from Beryl and AKMS for new rifle that is more suitable for modern battlefield. Off course it is not most urgent need of Polish Armed Forces but it is spread over the time and relatively not so expensive. Also it gives FB Łucznik-Radom chance to make it up in the civilian mar- ket and find potential clients from abroad. Speaking frankly it is last call to do it – MSBS three year ago was something unusual and original, overwhelming novelty. A year ago and today it is still very good weapon but year or two from now it will be just another rifle – competition is not slipping (and here we just mention HK 433 and BREN-2). Is MSBS/Grot a perfect weapon? For sure not. Is it good weapon? Hell yeah, it is. Does it require modifications? Probably yes, few weeks of use by WOT and there are some remarks. Are all those remarks are reasonable? Rather not – they are result from personal preferences, habits and practices and it supposed to be standard infantry rifle. In that case it is hard to talk about customization and fulfilling all the whims. Something else is civilian shooters that will have the need to adjust it to his needs, but here produced just have to produce weapon that will be easy to modify. Weapon for the military have to be just "good enough". Together with boys we fired couple of thousands of am- munition (for 8 years it is not heavy number) and we know what we like and don't like in MSBS/Grot. Off course we are not some oracle and we cannot say anything about lifes- FIREARMS
