One of such companies is Ginger's Tactical Gear estab- lished around two years ago in northern Poland (yap, the owner is ginger...). We have been used some their prod- ucts since that time – custom padded headband for hear- ing protection. Then, GTG went silent for a while, but after that time they still remembered Frag Out! Magazine, the most tacticool magazine in this part of the globe. Quickly afterwards, the shipment of their recent GPC lightweight plate carriers appeared on our doorstep. GTG GPC WTF? Ginger's Tactical Gear Ginger's Plate Carrier (or GTG GPC in short) is a plate carrier loosely based on idea of Crye Precison's JPC and JPC 2.0. It is a lightweight and simple platform to carry your ballistic plates, to increase mobility and air flow without unnecessary bulk. Thanks to its modu- lar design, the GPC could be customized and tailored to the individual requirements of end-user. The platform consists of front and back Cordura 500D panels integrated with plate pockets designed specifically to carry SAPI-shaped ballistic plates (Swimmer's Cut aka Shooter's Cut will have some free space). The back panel has a big flap with Velcro hook & loops which works as plate pocket opening and keeps the attachable cummerbund in place. There are six rows (five six cells and top one with four cells) of PALS webbing. Top two rows are covered with Vel- cro loop for patches/IFF markers attachment. On the top of the back panel there is also a foldable emergency carrying handle and embroidered GTG logo. The front panel has only a plate pocket flap for opening. The front panel on its face has two large pieces of Velcro loops to secure the cummerbund and front flap. Above it there is a slot for attaching removable flaps. Above the attachment slot there are two rows of PALS webbing covered with Vel- cro loop and with Velcro covering the portion between the rows for patches/ID covered with Velcro loop. Inside of the panels is basically the same – they both fea- ture a wide strip of mesh fabric sewn in the middle to im- prove the air flow. www.fragoutmag.com
