Together with a pair of G550s, they will be used for flights with government VIPs. Taking into consideration the possibilities available on the market, the MOD should thoroughly analyze the possible solutions. The delivery of the first Boeing 737 constitutes the second stage of the restoration program GOV VIP aircraft fleet. The manufacturer declares a delivery of two another 737's in 2020, in the VIP BBJ2 version and with special development in accordance with the requirements of the ordering party. The configuration of the aircraft will allow taking up to 65 passengers. The aircrafts' names will be Roman Dmowski and Jan Paderewski. A contract for three aircrafts was signed on 31 March 2017 for the value of approx. EUR 483 million. Poland is the second European country to procure 737NG's for government VIPs. Belarus has been using one 737 BBJ for several years and the Netherlands has decided to also buy one aircraft (version 737-700) in 2017.
