LOTOS SAYS: The GTG GPC arrival was a helluva surprise for me and a refreshing breath for my tactical gear. The modularity was the thing which convinced me to GPC as I know how impor- tant the customization of your gear is... Of course, I had heard some positive feedback about the GTG before, but I wasn't expecting so precisely and quality made products. I was totally surprised with the amount of embroidery too on almost every part of it. Logos, size, Made in Poland, etc. Only lacking things were company's HQ address and website – I think there were too many of those. But the gear is impor- tant, not the fancy embroidery. GPC looks robust, Large size is Large and not the "little bigger Medium". My choice was the Skeleton Cummerbund and Kangaroo shin- gle-style front flap. The overall length of the cummerbund cor- responds to the Large size of plate carrier. I won't be writing "how many cells and rows" as you will find that in tech details. Why I am writing this? I am not the smallest guys and sometimes "Large" vests are only Large in the specs. GPC is truly Large and for me, the length of cummerbunds is important. The front and back panels are similarly sized to other carriers I have seen or been using before. The only problem I had was fitting the plates inside the plate pockets. Maybe because the fact my SAPI plates are some old gen and they are way thicker than the modern ones. But finally I've placed them inside. The width of the shoulders straps and shoulder sleeves distri- bute the weight pretty evenly so the few hours on the shooting range are not a problem. Even if it rains. The Skeleton cummer- bund improves air flow and because of the stiffener between the layers of webbing, they are not as tight as a corset. I dig this compact, lightweight and solid made plate carrier. It is imperative to set it up once for all and to configure the load out, so I won't be complaining about any part of the GPC as I had no big problems. I've been carrying it around for a while and it's still holding up, keeps the shape and my old school M81 Woodland doesn't fade at all. equipment
