reasons, and was stored at the Boeing Field near Seattle, where the 737 delivery center is located. The carrier was to accept another ordered 737- 800's in the weeks that followed, so the problems with this particular aircraft are an unlikely reason here. Already in June 2017, representatives of Boeing indicated that Poland would receive a brand new aircraft, not used one. Finally, the information was confirmed by the Ministry of National Defense at the end of October. However, almost until the end, there was no complete information regarding the details of the ordered aircraft. It was re-deployed under US registration number N893BA (on 24-25 October) from Seattle, with stopovers in Moses Lake and Baltimore, to Saint- Malo in France, where its paintjob was changed at the MRO Sabena Technics facility and the aircraft itself was approved by representatives of the Polish MOD Armaments Inspectorate. A routine technical test flight was conducted on 11 November 2017. The flight to Warsaw was conducted by Boeing factory pilots since the training process of Polish pilots had not finished. The aircraft itself is waiting for additional works since its interior still represents the low-cost airline passenger standard – it was build to carry 189 pax. After the arrangement of the deck is changed, there will be a VIP compartment for four people, an higher-standard section for eight pax, and standard for 120 pax. What is more, there will be a rest area for the crew, as well as safes for guns and „Józef Piłsudski" after landing in Warsaw; to honor the tradition, it was welcomed with a water salute performed by airport fire brigades (civil and military) AVIATION
