Japanese Air Force made its debut by presenting,
for the first time on the international scene, the
Kawasaki C-2 cargo aircraft, which was brought
to service in the middle of 2016.
Airbus exhibited A350 XWB and A319 airliners,
as well as C295 CASA and A400M Atlas military
aircraft.
Russians presented Suchoj Superjet 100.
Emirates Airline showed two flagship aircrafts
representing the fleet – Airbus A380-800 and
Boeing 777-300ER. The visitors could also see
the redesigned economic passenger compart-
ment of Boeings, as well as the brand-new con-
cept of the First Class, which was designed in
cooperation with Mercedes-Benz, the so-called
Private Suit. Dubai Air Show also served for the
purpose of inauguration of the Emirates Flight
Training Academy.
The national operator of the UAE, Etihad, present-
ed Airbus A380, which also was facilitated with
a private on-board apartment – The Residence.
The show also featured an Airbus A320.
