a formation of aircrafts that included: an Airbus A380 of Emirates, a Boeing 777, which also be- longed to the Dubai operator, and they were ac- companied by 7 Aermacchi MB-339NAT of the Al Fursan aerobatics demonstration team of UAE Air Force. Each day featured a specially prepared 3-hour dynamic program, which involved presentations of aircrafts such as: Airbus A350 XWB, Beriev BE200 ES and Antonov ANT 132, Suchoj Su-35, F-16, F-22, Gripen, Rafale, Mirage 2000, or PAC JF-17 Thunder. Presentations also included helicopters – Turkey exhibited the TAI T129 ATAK attack helicopter, while the Ukrainian Motor Sich promoted Mi-2 and Mi-8MSB-T helicopters. To add some variety to the ex- hibitions of single aircrafts, the show includ- ed performances by aerobatics demon- stration teams: Al Fursan, Russkije Witiazi of the Russian Air Force, and the August 1st team of the People's Republic of China Air Force. Among 159 aircrafts gathered on the tarmac of the Al Maktum airport (Dubai World Central) that formed the static exhibition of Dubai Air Show, people could admire both military helicopters and aircrafts as well as flagships of the local air- lines and private business jets of their leading manufacturers. The Air Forces of the United Arab Emirates exhib- ited their helicopters: AW139, AH-64D Apache, and CH-47F Chinook as well as F-16 and Mirage 2000 fighters. The long-term ally of the UAE – USAF, was rep- resented by: Lockheed Martin KC-130J, Boeing E-3 Sentry, Boeing F-15E Strike Eagle, Lockheed Martin F-16C Fighting Falcon, Lockheed Martin F-22A Raptor and helicopters: Sikorsky CH-53 Super Stallion, MV-22 Osprey, and Sikorsky MH-60S.
