The Ginger's Tactical Gear has three waist packs in their offer, based on one design and differ among each other with their sizes and attachment sys- tem. The largest is Alpha™, then there is Alpha™ Hanger (dangler syle hung under the front flap of the plate carrier) and the smallest Alpha™ Mini. A few months ago, we received two Alphas in the Woodland camoufla- ge, so we can write down briefly about them. DESIGN All Ginger's Tactical Gear Alpha waist packs, regardless of their color are made of the Cordura® 500 nylon fabric and they feature a trapezoid sha- pe, which base is directed upwards. This base is 24 cm long and the top edge is 14 cm long. The pack has 14 cm height and it is about 4 cm thick. As it can be noticed, it has been designed for a specific order (and then it has been introduced to the GTG portfolio later), accor- ding to which the pistol of the Glock 17 size has had to fit in inside. There are three pockets in Ginger's Tactical Gear Alpha: the main pocket and two low profile pockets, one on the front and one on the rear. All of them are zippered – zippers feature metal pull-tabs, but those can be replaced with 550 cord ones in he- at-shrinkable coating. Inside the main pocket, on its rear, there is a 40 mm wide webbing stitched in four slots as an organizer for wider items such as multitool, knife, flashlight, etc. On the front, there is a mesh pocket for storing flat items. At the bottom of this pocket, there is a drainage hole. The front and rear external pockets are identical. They are simple flat pocket with a nylon lining in- side and the only difference is size. The front one is larger and basically is a full-front. The rear one covers 75% of back of the Alpha. On the front of the waistpack there is huge Velcro loop for your cool guy patches and badges. It will fit the lar- gest badges that you have in your collections. The Alpha waist pack has a webbing car- rying strap that can be fastened on one side (on the left side while viewed from the front) with single ITW Nexus buckle. www.fragoutmag.com
