A maximum length to which the strap can be exten- ded is 85 cm. The maximum waist size is 113-115 cm. If you have a big belly, you will need to run it under the belly. Ginger's Tactical Gear Alpha is available in Ranger Green, Black, Coyyote Brown, Multicam (Tropic, Arid, Black), M81 Woodland and PenCott GreenZone. The weight is approx. 175 g. RABBIT POV I wasn't using waist packs for most of my life and when I started to carry them two year ago so all of a sudden, I have got a great deal of them. Ginger's Tactical Gear Alpha is one of the largest I own (probably only the SYMBO Operator f and the Husar Cubby Hybrid are larger). It is really a large pack, so you can put a lot of the EDC gadgets, inclu- ding the Glock 17. Personally, I am not, to put it mildly, an enthusiast of carrying the gun in waist pack for several reasons: speed, drawing, control and safety. I would be afraid to carry the gun without any external safeties and no trigger guard in the soft waist pack. Therefore, I do not carry it in this way. The workmanship of the Alpha is very high and without any flattering I can say that's one of the best I have ever seen. Furthermore, they have the excellent materials, very cool designs so we have a full set. I am very fond of the details that add some taste such as the embroidered name of product, a logo or the manufacturer's data – seemingly, such a little thing, but it stands out against the background of the competition that that sews in the labels. The color choice is so huge they everybody can find something for him/her both in terms of the camouflages (the most popular ones), and in solids. Within a period of its use I have carried the Alpha around my waist and I have used it as an organizer for my pack, too. And, it is too big. At least for me, that is a person who does not carry the weapon in the fanny pack. The Alpha as the EDC has not been suitable for me. I normally carry a set of the documents in it (in total three thin books), a Kydex® and carbon wallets, three small sharpies, two ball pens, a multitool, sometimes I add a phone or car keys.
